3D icons created for Windows Start menu. These icons represent the suite of application within 3D For Everyone initiatives: Paint3D, Capture3D, Remix3D and View3D.
The design challenge here is that in Windows 10, users can choose their own color themes(blue, red, yellow etc.) to suit their personal preference. By rendering just the shadows and highlights of the icon, I can efficiently accommodate these variables without the need to render out each and every color icons for all possible backdrop color scenario.
